Did you put it on the back side of the bar napkin, so they could reverse engineer your idea? It should have been on the front to best capture the spirit of your thoughts.

Yes, that is what they are really good at. We use their pallets through the entire process (print, epoxy dispense, pick and place, reflow, wash, etc. Their board clamp methods are ingenious, click here and scroll down to see the edge-tensioner methods they use. This type of system prevents any issues with stencil printing, as there is no hardware above the surface of the fixture. http://www.dmipallet.com/innovations.php.
I have always liked working with DMI, they are easy to work with. Throw them half of a drawing on the back of a bar napkin, and one or two days later you get exactly what you want.

Have you been able to use their SMT pallets for multi location PNP and reflow? We never have the luxury of running a PWB array but could benefit from running a pallet down the line. I used to have some issue with the board locking mechanisms interfering with the stencil on thin PWBs.

Durostone CAS 761. Have the pallets made at DMI Pallet for best turn times, quality, and cost. They are by far absolutely the best.

Subject: [TN] Solder Adhering to Wave Pallets

Folks,

Based upon your experience, what is the best material to use for wave solder pallets to prevent solder from adhering and to minimize required cleaning cycles?

As always, your input is greatly appreciated!

Leland
