Is this a leaded part or are they castellated leads?

For castellated leads, there's not much space between the center pads and outer pads already, on a part that just loves to displace solder.  Keeping the pad and slug the same size also helps keep the part in place.  

It's common practice to keep the pad the same size as the center slug.
