As others have said there are no issues with cross contamination in the
sense you asked. The real problem on a single line is an organizational one:
making sure you use the correct paste, flux core etc. Most paste suppliers
use coloured jars to differentiate their pastes, but on solder wire/repair
flux etc it can be more difficult to see.

Subject: [TN] Oven contamination

We were recently asked a question by one of our customers that I didn't
have an answer to.  
Does the use of a common reflow oven for leaded and RoHs products result
in any cross contamination of these products.
On first glance I would have just said no, that isn't an issue, but I
want to know if anyone else has ever looked into this in any detail.
