Hoping the gasket does not provide an absolute seal and there is a capillary space between the gasket and board. With a capillary space, a possible chemistry is a vapor degreasing solvent; which can be both the wash and rinse solution. These chemistries are not ideal for water soluble flux residues; but, when trying to explore any or all options...
While the vapor degreasers are typically used in vapor degreasing equipment, they can also be used in spray under immersion processes, and, even spray in air (given the proper equipment design/approach).
The thought was to provide an option to deal with a batch of boards that have already been built.
I can recommend a few vapor degreasers offline if requested.
