Good insight information as to what to look for but not sure were on the board would I find this information. I am familiar with a lot of vendor logos and plant sites and the UL94V-0 symbol. Is this other information contained on the vendor PCB information.

typically used in low-price low tech consumer goods -- usually single-sided and punched not drilling and routed -- looking more at the ul public listing, you won't see the NEMA grade on the listing, so you'll need to verify with the vendor....the cheapest stuff i've used is CEM-3, but almost everybody in N/A uses FR-4 and up...

Ian,
Can you elaborate more on your comments or provide examples of your statement. I had not seen an FR1 board before.

the UL 'type designator' of the board shop should indicate when coupled with the UL 'yellow card' listing
