Blair,
I have a sample of several types of dry cabinets. I have nitrogen cabinets and dry boxes, all of which do their job in maintaining a dry environment. Consider the ESD aspects of this application though, if you remove all the moisture from a cabinet, the possibility of an ESD event goes up quite a bit. So make sure the manufacturer has taken all the right steps to make the cabinet ESD safe. I have XDrys which come with stainless steel interior shelves and McDrys that are painted with ESD or dissipative paint; both cabinets are well made and do their job. I also have a variety of nitrogen cabinets, some of them are good and some of them are terrible. Be wary of the all plastic or coated PVC variety. These work very well when brand new, but the environment dries out the PVC coating (my theory) and they become very hot after some time. Given their cost, they are not a bargain either. A company called Dr. Dry makes an interesting type of cabinets that also contain a low temperature heating capability and after looking them over at the Apex show, I would certainly give them consideration, they are about half the cost of the other two desiccant cabinets mentioned here.
Hope this helps...
