We've been using SN100C since 2007 and the Ni content
Max 0.052% 
Min 0.039%
Ave 0.044%
It has never been adjusted.

Interestingly the supplier doesn't report the Ge content in the assay
they do for us.
I'll follow that up.

Good Morning Technetters.

It is believed by our industry that SN100C suffers from nickel depletion
(which necessitates adding nickel back into the alloy).  The nickel
comes at .05%.  When it reaches .03%, it fails to function as a grain
refiner.  Also, the germanium is supposed to deplete, necessitating
adding germanium back into the alloy.  Is anybody aware of the specific
studies that reference the nickel and germanium depletion?
