Great answer to Dave's quiz, but the teacher always liked you best
anyway. I have a few phones for you. Ironically [do you think this word
came from Ferris wheel (you can go round and round and still come back
to the same point of view)], when I had the phone it only worked
periodically anyway.

This request is mainly aimed at North American Technetters - even easier
for
Canucks, as will become clear as you read this.

I am looking for donations of cell phones produced over the last fifteen
years - intact (except for scratches and normal wear and tear), but not
necessarily working and with the battery removed.

The reason I want them is to grind them up and test for elemental
composition.

If you could write me OFF LINE about what you have and tell me the make,
model and approximate age, if it is a model I am interested in, I will
give
you my address you can send it to (at your expense  :( ).  I will share
the
results of the analysis with all who participate.  Eventually the aim is
to
publish the results in a paper.
