Not at all! Just thought your advice the new three pounders angus on the new menu at golden arch. :-) it is addictive.

Not being PC, I'm a big MAC fan. I was going to say you really grilled
me over the coals, but that's another place. I hope you weren't equating
that my advice was like the burger; a two-bit pounder.

Let's be frank about it: I have a lot of respect to the McDonald guys
who set up the quality control system. It is the best in the world.
Consider how many people they have to train and turn over of staff. If
you go to end of the world, you see a big Mac, you can expect more less
the same taste (super size me type). Excellent QA system, it is a real
engineering achievement (consider over how many years with the big
Mac... not all of us can say that: the warrantee of computers are
getting less nowadays to 6 month?). I have a lot of respect for
McDonald. My 2 cent.

That's because they acquire their skills in short-order; whereas some
people feel we can never be trained.

The people working at McDonald's have a salary that we engineers can
only dream of.

Phillip,
those guys work in a multi billion industry. They have probably a salary
that we in electronics can only dream of.
