Hello everyone,

IPC 4552 specifies ENIG surface characteristics and moreover talks about the usage of it in edge connectors. According to the spec, ENIG could be used in the edge connectors since the insertion force is zero or low.
Unfortunately, IPC does not specify what is low insertion force. Do you guys know if there is any remark of this information anywhere?

Thanks
Mickael Montanher
