Susan,

That's the document to which I referred. Gee, I didn't realize it had been that long ago. No wonder I couldn't locate it.

I was mistaken though about the process. Thought it was aimed at the wave and not SMT. Guess my seven year memory capability is not what I'd perceived it to be!

Subject: Re: Wave Soldering Process Fishbone Diagram

Here's a copy of a fishbone I saved from Inge from "way back" to 2004. Actual diagram is on page 4. If this is the one you're looking for, I've sent a copy to Steve to post if he wants to.

Regards,
Sue

Hi Leland,

I'm sorry that I didn't respond sooner, I got busy and forgot about your email. I sincerely apologize.

I looked for the fishbone that Inge sent, and I couldn't find it. I must have taken it down from my web page when I cleaned it up some months back. But as I recall, I don't think it was specifically for wave soldering. Maybe if Inge has his ears up, he can resend it and I'll post it again on my page.

But what I did find is a good reflow/wave problem & trouble-shooting chart put out by Electrovert. I don't know if you've seen it before. I'll send it along with this email...

Steve

Subject: [TN] Wave Soldering Process Fishbone Diagram

Folks,

A few months ago I remember a fellow TechNetter making available to the group a fishbone diagram of the wave soldering process. I'm usually pretty good about hanging onto stuff like this, but have apparently misplaced this one. If someone has a copy, could you please forward me a copy?

By the way, Clumpy and his cousin were both helping out quite well until about 2:00 yesterday. I think the aftershocks of the earthquake kinda shook them up, and they asked for the remainder of the day off.

Leland
