I agree with V-Score - we have moved away from MB and scoring offers good strength and ease of de-panelization.

Subject: [TN] Breakaway help

Dear Technetters,

 

I am creating a breakaway for my PCB of size 17.35"x 19" with the
breakaway tab on 17.35" side using mouse bites.

 

DFM Fab team said that Mouse bite will not work on 17.35" side as the
board too big for the panel and board would run down the line in wrong
direction. And suggested to change breakaway to 19" side with V-grooves.

 

I do not understand the reason. Please can anyone help to understand?
