Hello all -
It has always been my understanding that IPC had been driving toward a common standard for design transfer that took the best features from both ODB++ and GenCAD (the two leading formats) and merged the results.  That being the IPC 2580 series of standards.  Now I've had a new format thrown into the mix, Fabmaster (from Allegro)  My question is, if we needed to choose one database format for our design transfers, which one should be choose or should we simply allow our manufacturing partners to dictate what they need.  Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
