Hello, I would need to have support to help me to solve a problem that we have with our radial inserter.  The problem that we have is that the machine jaw is not able to take radial taped components that have a feed hole to bottom of component distance of 18 mm. This distance is too low for the jaw and it is not able to take the part; the components fall. If I refer to the machine specifications, it should be able to take a distance from 15.5 mm to 22.5 mm. The machine that we have is a Universal  dual radial lead sequencer/inserter model 6348. We have a couple of thousands of these parts taped at 18 mm in stock and we cannot return them.

 

 

Is there anyone who uses that machine and could help me? Is there a special jaw that we should buy to met the machine specs? 

 

 

Also, I would like to know if someone could to refer us a specialist who might be able to solve our problem. We have already tried to have support from Universal but they don't support this machine anymore.
