We train and certify to both IPC-A-600 and portions of IPC-6012 as well. Class 3 product.
Client companies train/certify to IPC-A-600, plus some have PWB Workmanship Standards as well. Class 2 and 3 product.

Subject: [TN] IPC-A-600 CERTIFICATION

This seemed like a no brainer to me but I am getting heavy resistance
when I recommend certification for those who inspect PWBs.

My question is do you have your personnel who are performing incoming
inspection on PWBs trained and certified to IPC-A-600?

We currently only train and certify to J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 and our
product is class 3.
