Inge,

I hope that everything is going well for you in your current projects.

I would like a bit of input on a former project of yours. A couple years
ago you posted on microscope cameras that you purchased.

I am now looking for a personal/lab microscope camera. I would like to know
how your cameras are holding up.

Does the software perform the tasks it claims to handle?

Have you noted significant difference between the image quality of the 3
& 5 Megapixel cameras at <100X magnification?

Have you seen other cameras out there that piqued your interest?

If you or anyone else has comments, updates, or suggestions, I am
interested!

TIA

Subject: [TN] Microscope cameras

We had several discussions about cheap solutions, remember? 'Professional'
cameras, i.e. from the microscope manufacturers themselves, are very
expensive. There may be a reason for that. However, when your budget does
not fit, you are forced to make other choice. I found the below dealer for a

chinese brand. I bought two, one 3 and one 5 Megapixel, got them yesterday
and installed them immediately on a metalurgical microscope and on a stereo
one. Took a couple of minutes. I'm very satisfied with the camera and the
program. It can't cope with my former Nikon DXM1200, but it covers most that

I need. And the price is 1/15 th of the cost for a professional camera. And
the delivery is instant. And there is a whole bunch of adapters and other
things in the box. Seems as you can mount to any microscope on the market.
Smart.

Inge
