We went to a company called Sciencescope for our units. We have 3
that are on fixed platforms (desktop computers) with separate video
cards. We also have 3 semi-portable that use laptops and USB cameras,
we have them on roll around printer stands that we can use in the field.
ESD is not much of an issue as we have typically 60% humidity and we use
grounded mats under the boards.

Hi Steve,

Correct. I bought these:

they cost nothing compared with the professional cameras. The pics come
out pretty good, after a lot of mixing with the software. You need time
to make a reasonable result. That's expected for that price. I recommend
them, but you have to accept a bit lower quality than what you used to
get when you were at your company lab.

Good Click!

Inge
