I agree - TTM Santa Clara performs well with fused SnPb as well as selective plating with NI.

You may also want to push ENIG as the likely cause for the prohibition is the issues with embrittlement.  Discuss the IG process with your customer which will demonstrate gold levels far below the volumes needed to effect this condition.  I have found cold restrictions are not logically implemented in cases like this.

Subject: [TN] HASL is becomming a Hassle...

Once again, we have a heritage space job that our customer prohibits HASL, because of the extra thermal excursion.  They also prohibit ENIG, reasons unknown.  We're having a hard time finding a PWB house that does plated and fused Sn60, space qualified.  Any recommendations?
