By selective soldering do you mean a selective wave soldering machine or
a selective carrier on a wave soldering machine?
We use Kester 979 and practically all our products have selective
carriers. That is a lead free process.
One of our customers subsequently uses exactly the same process in very
large volumes.
The biggest problem is over fluxing traps flux between board and
carrier. We have to avoid that.
