Can you remove a section of a trace from a bare or scrapped board then glue it down?

Subject: [TN] PCB Repair: High Current Traces

Hello technetters,

We need to repair large traces (0.080'') of a 2oz copper PCB. So far I've
only found 0.025'' repair traces. Anyone has a tip? We don't want to use
repair wires since the repair will be on the visible side of the circuit.

Thank to all!

Jean-Francois
