Be sure all of the manufacturing equipment can handle the panel size. Be sure to talk to the panel fabricator to maximize the number of panels obtained from a single flat, to avoid excessive waste (cost driver).

Subject: [TN] Panel manufacturability
Hi all,
Is there any rules that can guide me for calculating a good panel size. We
have a board 4x5.5. Considering a paste mask with 22"x22", I'm thinking
that a 5x1 panel would be OK. but is there anything that I'm missing?
Thanks!
