The replacement pads in the kits from Circuit Medic have the epoxy already on them, all you need to do is use their heater to bond the pads to the PWB. However, for high-rel repairs, it is better to bond the pads with Armstrong C7 resin and hardener "W" (1:1 mix), inspect, add the replacement component, inspect the soldering, and finally overbond the whole pad with Armstrong C7 resin and hardener "W" (1:1 mix), and inspect again.
