Hi Jerry. It must be tough in a small place like Scotland to get a decent job.
I remember all the down sizing and false promises with the Honeywell Facility which became Honeywell Bull, then Bull HN.
Because the management never upgraded the equipment there, they then said Scotland Facility should be closed becasue it was so out of date.
Like it was their fault that nothing got funded. I worked for that group for 23 years before it ended for us here as well.
Since you've been in the Electronics industry I was wondering if you ever worked in the Honeywell/bull computer company there.

This is Peter, Werner's son. It is with great sadness, I am letting you know my
father passed away on 4/15/2011. He was known as "Mr. Reliability" in his
industry. This aptly described his personal life too. A better husband, father,
and Opa could not exist. He was a Renaissance man and he didn't let us down in
his final hours. He passed in Aqaba, Jordan scuba diving. He lived life to the
fullest and was a great example to all. Dad will be missed.
If you know of anyone who knew Werner please feel free to pass this on.
My mother, Osie; sister, Heide; and I all thank you for your friendship with my
father.
