We're trying to move our current Process Change Notice process from a manual to an electronic system.  I'd really like your insight into things that have worked for you and those that didn't.  Fairly complete descriptions of the best you've ever seen would be sincerely appreciated.  That's where we're wanting to be.  All bases covered, all items included, appropriate approval authorities, timelines, etc.  You're acquainted with the process, and it can range from simple to crippling.

The manual system we have now works, but it is beyond labor intensive.  We wish to streamline and simplify, yet hope to identify a world class product that can be bought without having to resort to customized application development.
