Hi folks! In the IPC-HDBK-001 Handbook, section 5.3.7, page 62 is the 
formula you can use for calculating how much tin you add to the wave 
solder pot for tin replenishment efforts.

The company that do our assays knows the size of our solder baths and when 
the assay certificate is returned they will tell us the amount of 
corrective metal that needs to be added to the bath. They sell us the 
metal so the service is free.

We also plot a graph of the assay results as this permits us to see trends 
and avoid running the bath out of spec.

Yes, I'm talking about a wave solder pot and not to add solder bars, but 
pure tin.
