Greetings,

We are reviewing our bare board procurement document and Fab Notes, and I'm
stuck on the part about UL. Reviewing notes from other sources I don't see
any mention of UL, but I know fabricators have some kind of UL approval
process (and the 94-Vx rating) and a UL registered logo? (I don't know).

My question is, is the UL involvement primarily for the flammability of the
MATERIALS they use, or is there more to the story?

More to the point, Is there any reason to specify UL on a fabrication
drawing (or in a general requirement?)

thanks,
Jack
