Technos,
I apologize in advance if this is an overly simplistic request, but I am not primarily an electrical engineer. I've been searching for a bus-bar / distribution-bar / terminal block (whatever you want to call it) for a specific test box. Inside the test box, what I need to do is simply split 1 wire input into 6 output. The current box simply uses a wire nut. I'd like to improve this with a bus-bar / dist-bar / terminal-block. The input wire is 10ga, the 6 out are 20ga, total current up to 40A DC.. I am ideally looking for something akin to the ground bar in your household electrical panel (ref Square-D p/n PK23GTA, Grainger P/N 5B716), but a smaller version of it. I can't seem to locate such an item. Does it exist? I can find many terminal block variants, but would require use of multiple jumpers to create the "bus". I've also found McMaster-Carr P/N 7626K11, but it is a bit too tall profile (1.52").
I've also considered that I could use grounding ribbon and simply solder connections, but for serviceability I would really prefer screw terminals.
Thanks in advance.
