I know the subject is SMT Caps but I figured I'd expand the AOI subject alittle.
I haven't come across an AOI systems that can distinguish between orange and red on PTH resistors.
There may be one out there, but two years ago the vendors couldn't offer one.
For everything else, positioning, orientation, missing, double/stacked parts, they are great.

Which AOI system do you have?
Most newer systems today allow you (automatically) several alternate acceptable programmed images, both in terms of size, marking and color.

system? I have tried by color package, but the color of the packages are not
