Thanks for the warning. Foil thickness and current carrying capability at ultra thin trace would be interesting to know. Will see if flex guys got any tighten spec....Thanks again.

Joyce,
The best table is Table 1-1 in IPC-4562; however, be careful with these numbers-the thickness is given as 'Nominal Thickness' for a reason. ED Cu does not have a fixed density, and it also has bond enhancement treatments. And since Cu is solder by weight, foil thickness is customarily given in oz/ft2.

Guys and gals,

Any of young chaps know the table of Cu oz vs micron thickness in IPC std? I

know what the thickness should be, but need "official" table number with a spec.

Friday thing. Thx.

Hi All,

Some of might remember last year sometime when I posted a photo of something

ne of our operators accomplished that I was simply amazed with:

I thought that couldn't have been topped, but she has once again shocked and

wed me with her skill and patience:

I can't believe we even quoted this job, much less accomplished it. There's

024 wires there, and BTW, that's 20-mil pitch. Simply astounding.
