Did you try ductile to brittle fracture transition temperature of the alloy you are interested? Ductility vs temperature?  Impact toughness vs temperature? That including all the IMC layers.  At 77K nothing more much.  You can forget most of diffusion driven mechanism, just concentrate on intrinsic properties (including IMC). Start checking 50s and 60s papers.

I am looking for some information about solder joints / alloy behavior in extremely low temperature environment; in this particular case, for temperatures below 77K.

I have not been very lucky so far and could not find any useful data or papers.

Do any of you have experience with such environment? Any alloy to suggest or to stay away from? Some literature or studies that would be available somewhere?
