 Our production group always gets the same type of data for all jobs. There
is an engineering process/tool set we use which accepts many different
formats from customers but outputs converted to our own internal formats.

 We use custom tools but other software products are out there which you can
purchase.

    Right now we use many tool to make our work instruction ( Autocad, Word,
PDF) is all depend on what and most how we receive infos from our client as
Contract manufacturer we receive almost everything we can dream of ( and
maybe you already as to deal with)  so do you use a software to edit, modify
and add notes on the files that your customer send you to meet what your
people need to have on the production floor in order to achieve good work
instrution or do you always start from scracth?
