Genny,

Based on your X-ray image I have two observations to make.

1. The part appears to be a resistor not a capacitor.  It looks very much like it 
has three sided terminations not 5 sided terminations.

2. One end of the part is reflowed to the solder ball and the other end
(termination) is laying over a via.

You have a potential connection at the via, if it is not connected now.  I 
would say reject or rework unless a failure represents no issue with the end 
user or the customer.  Generally any failure upsets the users and the customer.
