I wouldn't do that, Jack. Reason is, your name is worth something. The
implication of a connection, be it business or personal, is that you
would vouch for that person. Moreover, that person *might* use your name
to leverage opportunities for themselves by hitting up people in your
network. That's something you may welcome your "true" contacts to do,
but it's a dicey proposition to allow folks you've never met to take
advantage of. Personally, I would be uncomfortable suggesting to others
in my network that a relationship exists when in fact it does not.

Best,
Mike

Subject: [TN] NTC - invitations from LinkedIn

I don't know a smarter group of people to ask this question, so:

Is there any reason not to just blindly accept invitations from LinkedIn
people?
I used to only accept people I know, but lately I've been getting a
bazillion "invitations".
It would be easier to just accept, accept, accept...
.... but should I?

(If I DON'T accept them, it keeps "reminding" me, which is getting
annoying)

Jack
