Inge,

Golly!  Mine looked far better than yours - and it was bad.  Yours is
absolutely appalling!  

Looks like you were the recipient of someone's development board - having
experienced multiple, manual, component changes with little regard for
appearances or reliability - and/or performed by a sub-entry level
technician with a soldering iron tip which was grossly over-sized for the
task.

I sincerely hope that this unit is one which should never escaped from the
engineering labs [even embarrassing to have it there] and does not represent
typical product from the supplier.  

I would not be bashful about sending your photos and internal examination
comments to them so they can improve their process or procedures.  

If all of their product looks like that, they are certain NOT to have return
customers!!!

Gosh, you have not so ensuring thoughts about english electronics, Steve.
