Hi folks - here is the Friday Element Quiz Answer:
The Question:
This element has a world inventory supply of nearly 1 gram. This element
is the heaviest element that has engineering use.
Bonus question: This element has two crystal structures - name the crystal
structure that exists above 590C.
The Answer:
The element is Californium (Cf). Cf has been used in some cancer
treatments and in various investigations were a very strong neutron source
is required. Cf has a FCC structure above 590C and yes, its boiling point
is 1470C.

Sanches of Teradyne was the closest on answering the Bonus question. Sorry
Graham, looks like Clumpy is heading to Florida to assist Dick and you'll
