To Jon,
I sent a mail to you with wrong value. I wrote '5,000 V/micrometer' for best
Kapton tape. Well, that would been a dream for people doing with high
voltage applications.
The correct value is 50 V/micrometer. There are some application with higher
dielectric withstanding, e.g. in semiconductors. We design certain HBT and
MESFETs for withstanding over 100 V/micrometer, but it's not applicable in
your case, I believe.
