I believe if my memory serves me correct, the dash 20 was longer and you
would have to cut them down.
If you order the 38999 series I or II, you probably won't get the -20's.
They will probably send you the latest revision (N) size 20-2 which is
only .001 shorter than the 20-1's.
Seal plugs, you got to love 'em.
I would call Amphenol and validate though.

Does anyone know the difference between MS27488-20 and MS27488-20-1
plugs?

Amphenol catalogs list the MS27488-20-1 as the plugs for 38999 Series
III size 20 contacts, and MS27488-20 as the plugs for 38999 Series I and
II size 20 contacts, but MS27488 does not distinguish between the two,
other than that -20-1 supercedes -20.
