Agreed with Mr. Edwards but what if it is an super expensive chip and
the replacement take a long time to come in which project cannot afford
to wait? Need to hear you guys suggestions. My one cent question which
may seems dumb to you expert.

Using a copper wire that is hot enough (depend on you available tools)
to "suck out" the solder short if there is the issue though it is a bit
time consuming but do able.

SMT Tails of 244 pin miniDIMM are shadowing by the component housing,
solder irons can not reach SMT Tails, how to rework and repair if poor
soldering?
