I'm sure in the long run you're looking for a remedy to avoid causing
the damage at the break-away but if you are interested in a repair
solution then see IPC-7711/7721 procedure 3.1 Delamination/Blister
Repair, Injection Method or 3.5.1 Base Material Repair, Epoxy Method.

Subject: [TN] Haloing/Delamination to edge of board

Dear All,

We have test coupon attached to our main board. Though V-groove is used,
we have occasionally cases of haloing or delamination when the test
coupon is break off from the main board. There are few cases whereby the
delamination or halo is >3mm but <50% of the acceptance criteria called
for. Is there any proof solution to this issue?

Thanks and Regards,
~ Wee Mei ~
