Dear X,
What sizes? How many do you need? If you're looking for a small quantity of cut pins, forget it. Go to smallparts.com order SS precision machined stock (it's cheaper that music wire, go figure). Use a diamond cutoff wheel to cut them and then debur. Tumble debur does not work well with the cut ss. We use SiC grind.
The IPC A/B-R Standard is 2mm drill, 0.078" pin stock. This yields a slip fit that works for your smallest laser blinds.

Oh ya, Louis and Tom - I never replied about the brilliance of the A/B-R. I was hoping that you would just catch the infomercial. It's on at 2am (Spike channel, of course). Or you can come to the 1-10C meeting. Keep in mind that according to our chairman, the design is finalized until 2221 Appendix A amendment 1 (by my calculations, 2015).

X2

Subject: [TN] PCB Indexing Pins / PWB Coupon pins
Importance: High

Fellow TechNetters:

I am searching for an assortment of the above stated pins, not in large quantities at this time. We are conducting Thermal Stress on Plated Through Hole without an expensive tooling machine. I am currently working with 0.019 thru 0.042 thousand finish hole sizes. I need to pin several coupons on one mount. I don't need precisions pin as they are discarded after use.

Any ideas, comments/suggestions.

 Victor,
