Too late to pick up e-mails and enter quiz.  My daughter's first (and maybe only) industrial job was to pull the little americium source out of scrapped smoke detectors, before they were shredded.  I got to thinking - what kind of grandkids will I get after she does this job all summer?  Apparently, no harm, as I now have a lovely 5 year old granddaughter, 20 years later.
