Ioan,
If only that worked. Hillman schedules bogus meetings here at Rockwell
and when I get back, my furniture and Dew stash is gone. Gonna start
using some 2-part epoxies around here.

Re: [TN] Cleaning No Clean Flux

Robert,

In order to leave Doug alone watching over his furniture and Mountain Dew
pile, I am attaching below his reply to the same question, not so long
ago.

"As I have told many a person here, isopropyl alcohol SUCKS as a cleaner.
Sucks sucks sucks. Horrid. Awful. Rotten. I could go on, but seem to
have misplaced my thesaurus.

I would recommend either Chemtronics Heavy Duty Flux Off (yes, that is an
actual name) or Kyzen's Cybersolv 141R.

Doug Pauls"

Objet : [TN] Cleaning No Clean Flux

Hello Everyone. I know there has been a lot of interesting dialogue the
past few days reference hand solder and flux and cleaning. My question
is "is isopropyl alcohol acceptable to use to clean no clean flux"? We
have Novec flux remover, but that leaves a white residue similar to what
some of you have complained about during the course of the related
thread. Any ideas on the best way to remove or avoid this. Also, why
would "No cleans" need cleaning?

Thanks,

Bob DeQuattro
