It depends on the use environment and application of the CCA. For commercial applications, no-clean may be a good choice. For military or other hi-rel applications, RMA or water soluble. It also depends on the CCA configuration. If you can subject the CCAs to water wash, then I would not hesitate to choose water-soluble over RMA.

Hi all.
What is the best setup for hand soldering as far as solder / cleaner?
Rosin core? Water soluble? No-Clean?
What cleaner too?
I've been using rosin core with various cleaners but I have a hard time with
the white residue the cleaners leave.
