Hi again all,

What has prompted me to ask about press-fit presses, is this Amphenol
connector (PN# U86-D4427-10121) :

http://www.amphenolcanada.com/ProductSearch/drawings/AC/U86DX427X0XX1.pdf

I have the insertion specifications here:

http://stevezeva.homestead.com/SFP_2xN_INSERTION.PDF

The instructions call out that it will take 8400 newtons of force to press
this connector in. This is the first time that I have ever run across a
connector like this, and was wondering if any of you have ever dealt with
this puppy before?

Steve
