Hi Jerry

To the best of my knowledge, you will get the same performances from a "standard" acrylic coating at a fraction of the cost. Keep-in-mind that the solvent is designed to go away leaving the coating behind.

Other fluorochemical coatings actually contain no polymer and we found - in my previous life - that when exposed to a temperature above 50DegC it volatilised off the assembly leaving no coating behind - it also came off on your fingers or any other surface it touched. We did not develop that into a saleable product!

Hope this helps
