My usual response to such a question is "why, what did second shift do
THIS time?".
It would depend on how much underfill was in the original dispense and how
difficult a second dispense would be. Then it would depend on whether you
have any data that correlates the amount of underfill to some performance
characteristic, such as drop shock or thermal cycle.

[TN] Double underfill
Technetters,
I would like your opinions on a theoretical underfill situation. What
would be your comments be if a process group told you that they had
underfilled a component and it was cured and they wanted to add more
underfill to the component?
Bev
