Subject: [TN] New Definition for the Term "P Charts"

Hey...I had to share this with the TechNet folks.

Some of you may (or may not) know that I (after 30+ yrs) am out interviewing
for a new position.
I have a few possible leads and I was thinking of why not develop a way to
quantify the possibilities
for comparison. So I wrote down all the attributes that I'd like to see for
comparison (like Domestic
Travel, International Travel, Move, Friendly Team Players, Loyalty to
Employees, Pay, ...etc.)
When it was all done I was actually surprised. My top two potentials were
within 4% of each other
yet they are at extreme ends of the PCB food chain. So I decided the chart
should be called a
"Pain Chart". The overall value consists of the sum of the weighing factors
(values) given.
Of course the less the value, the more favorable the position. (Like less
pain)

I got a chuckle or two on this and a few of my quality <no pun intended>
friends liked it too.

Cheers,
Dave Hoover (aka, Groovy)
