Subject: [DC] Looking for High Tech Board Shop - Chip-On-Board
DC Members:
I am looking for a high tech board shop that can manufacture a very tight PCB.
I am designing a PCB that has a Chip-On-Board. It has 568 pads, all
jammed on two sides. These all need to be wire bonded to the PCB
onto a 3-row configuration. It's far from ideal, but it is what I
have to work with. As a result, I am using a 12 mil via with a 6 mil
drill near the bond pads. Blind / buried vias are not practical for
this design. I can't make this 4 rows or spread things out any
further as we will exceed the capabilities of the wire bonder.
This design has 3 mil trace / space.
100 ohm differential pairs.
12 layers.
0.048" thick.
12 mil via, 6 mil drill.
Any recommendations for a board shop that can do something like this
would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
David Baldwin
