Yes, some people do, but I can't be more specific without making a "non
commercial" response.
For fluxes of the power required you will not only need to wash off your
work, but make sure your application equipment (including extraction) is
corrosion proof.

Hi gang! I need your assistance. I have an application in which I am
soldering to a heater wire with a composition of 22.5% Chromium, 5.5%
Aluminium and 72% Iron. Does anyone have a flux product suggestion? I have
a couple flux chemistries in the lab I am going to try but wanted to get a
TechNet opinion. And yes, I know I'll need to clean off the flux residues
after soldering!
