Ahem. When the topic turns to rugger I react....

The difference between soccer/football and rugby?

Football is a game for gentlemen played by hooligans

Rugby is a game for hooligans played by gentlemen

Let battle commence...

BTW, here in dear old "blighty", we refer to footy players as "the Andrex Boys" (Andrex is a brand of toilet tissue). AKA "Soft and unnecessarily expensive".

As for American Football, rugby played with protective padding....in short 1 minute bursts and 3 teams....I am now taking cover in a remote and undisclosed location!
